The C++ 2013 redistribuables should no longer be needed but windows users will still need to add DEP exceptions both for game.exe and diablo II.exe and restart computer.
Note that you might want to backup whatever file this would overwrite first.
Installation should be simple (more details in first release's post) : Download everything that is there and copy it in your Diablo 2 root folder (where game.exe and diablo II.exe should be).
